Whether you prefer to go under your own steam or use an electric mountain bike, there are more than 20 designated mountain bike tours available, with plenty of Alpine huts to stop at for refreshment en route. Whilst enjoying a break and taking in the view, you can hitch up your electric bike to one of the E-bike charging stations, available at the Alpine huts, ready for the next stage.
Free bike transport
4 of the 6 lifts operating in summer can transport both you and your bike up into the mountains to begin your tour. If despite this assistance you still run out of energy, there is a pickup service available for you and your bike.
For speedsters
For those who love a bit of speed and fun, right next to the Alpenblick at the top of the Dofj@t lift is the start of the downhill trail “FLOW TRAIL ONE”, giving you 285 vertical metres of biking fun as often as you like.
Guided tours
Your Hochkönig card means you can take part in the guided mountain bike and electric mountain bike tours free of Charge.
If you fancy trying out something new, there are various possibilities in the sports shops in the village to hire a suitable bike or electric bike.
